• The police have a suspect they believe committed the Stacy’s pizza delivery murder but have not yet made an arrest. They hope to make an arrest as this suspect has done similar delivery type crime in the past. They need continued support from the community gathering any information regarding the crime as the investigation continues.

  • Shooting 5/01 900 66th St., 2 18 yo victims, one shot in hand.
  • Robbery with a gun 5/5 5 :45 pm 7300 Brentwood Rd.  Cell phone purchase deal gone wrong. Be carefull meeting people when selling online using “offerup” app (same caution goes for EBAY or any online sales platform). Victim was robbed of $250 and cell phone. Thin black male suspect. 
  • robbery with gun 6300 Lancaster. Victim lost phone wallet. Suspect is black male 5’10” slim build black hat.
  • Robbery with gun (x2) at the CVS on Haverford and City. Suspect had gun and took the narcotics at 3 pm. 5/03, Black male 30s or 40s, 220  pounds, Adidas jacket, black hat (these robbers always seem to wear black hats). Robbed again at 7:56 am at the front of the store.  Robbed $150. Black male 5’9″ with swollen eyes.
  • Robbery 1100 63rd St. man in wheelchair, thrown from chair, kicked and punched. Prescription was taken. Suspect is 36 year old black male 6’1″ wearing black hoodie and jeans.
  • 15 theft from auto complaints. 80% are cars with doors left unlocked.
  • Shooting 200 Simpson 5/17. Suspect beat victim with gun. 5’7″ black male 18-25 wearing black clothes. Found .357 bullets on scene.
  • 6600 Haddington, NJ Deli, shots fired. 3 cars hit by gunfire. No suspects.
  • Burglary 1800 block lost Rolex and laptop.
  • 7234 Haverford, 18 year old with 40 cal semi automatic pistol charged as Uniform Firearms Act violation. Gun now off the street!
  • Police followed up on the homeless encampment discussed last two meetings and found no homeless folks living in the Morris park area.
  • Police have been following up on the problem house and drug car on Flanders. Reports from neighbors things have quieted down on the block since the increased police presence. 
  • Neighbors concerned about the “Stop and Go” on 1000 Edgewood. (formerly Johnny’s Bar) also 66th and Lebanon. Neighbors encouraged to document, call 911 and report issues. Alert the DA”s Office Public Nuisance Task Force , Also Josh Cohen in Curtis Jones office can assist.
  • Double parking is a problem at several areas, 63rd and Oxford across from funeral home, 62nd and Landsdowne, 66th & Lebanon, all the way down Haverford to Papa Park.
