  • 9/08 5:20 PM, Haverford & Landsdowne, vehicle struck by gunfire, six .380 cal. shells found at scene.
  • 9/03 5:55 PM, 6100 Lancaster ( KFC  Laundromat) black man 30’s, 5’6” w/ mask pulled a gun
  • 8/26 6:00 PM, 6200 Jefferson, 60 year old victim robbed by 15 or 16 year old w/ bushy hair
  • 7700 City Ave. Dollar Store, 39 y/e shoplifter arrested charged with burglary after bolting from store- pushed employee
  • 9/01 6700 Lebanon @ the 7-11, man w/ knife. Held by employee with a  bat until police came and arrested him
  • 8/28 6500 Callowhill, policeman was dragged by vehicle after being stopped. Driver was identified and arrested 
  • 9/04 Burglary 9:30 PM 6400 Drexel Rd. 
  • 9/08 Burglary 5400 Jefferson (stolen drywall)
  • 9/02 7500 Haverford, Metro PCS store, rock thrown threw window at 4:30 am
  • 9/03 9:00 AM, 6604 Haverford, Roofing Supply, Commercial Burglary, $1700 cash stolen
  • total of eight theft from autos, once again almost all were unlocked and/or valuables left in plain view
  • total of seven stolen cars (one by 15 & 16 y/o)
  • 9/21 three reported shootings (nobody shot)  within 90 minutes in the same area of the PSA between 8:00 am and 9:30 am:
    • 6400 Carlton, five casings found
    • 6700 Leeds, eleven 9 millimeter shell casings found
    • 6501 Harlin, shots heard, Sonata windshield shot out, no casings recovered no suspects or arrests
  • Robbery with Gun:
    • 7700 City Ave. Dry Cleaners, 6’2″ black male showed black handgun, stole $300
    • 130 N. 63rd St., Rite Aid , 10:20 am, 50 y/o black male, 5’9″ showed his hand wrapped in Save-Alot bag and claimed to have a gun. Employee refused to give money so man ran out of the store
    • 2008 Toyota, 2 offenders jumped in car and hit man in head with gun, both black males wearing black clothes ran away….maybe drug deal gone wrong??
    • 400 Simpson St., women lured man into alley where she was jumped and beaten 4 men. Stole $80
  • Burglaries:
    • 9/11 1600 Edgewood, 1:18 am alarm went off, purse and ring taken
    • 9/12 1600 Edgewood, Dining room window broken
    • 9/12  1600 60th St., attempted break in
    • 9/13 1600 Robinson, 8:30 pm basement window broken, $120 taken
    • 9/17 501 N 66th St.,Church front door and office broken into
  • Neighbor reports suspected drug activity in the driveways between 61st and 60th near Columbia. Police will increase patrols and also notify narcotics squad of this activity
